Having been brought up with a brother and sister with disabilities and complex needs, I have had personal experiences of the challenges involved in supporting and caring for individuals from a siblings point of view. I have over 14 years experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and associated disorders. I have been working at The Oaks for over 10 years now and there have been many highlights during this time. The most rewarding thing about being a manager of this service is enabling both staff and service users to gain knowledge and skills and to see them progress.
