Who we are

The Exalon Autonomy Group provides a wide ranges of services to people in need of care and support in society.

Exalon Care is a privately owned Care Home Group, specialising in the care and support of individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs including those who present with behaviours that are challenging.

The Company was founded in 2000, and opened its first home in July 2001. It has an experienced, multi-disciplinary Management and Operations Team.

With homes in Worcester and Wiltshire, our aim is to provide a safe and stable environment which will enable services users to live with dignity, whilst retaining their individuality and freedom of choice.

Through Person Centred Planning, we individually tailor care and support packages to suit the needs, interests and aspirations of each service user, placing a high emphasis on enjoyable daily living, nutrition, activities, outings and holidays.

Exalon Care provides residential care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. We specialise in managing difficult behaviour patterns, and our homes are noted for their high staff to resident ratios and exceptional standard of training which is individually tailored to our service users.

Autonomy Care was registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide Domiciliary Care in May 2009.

Autonomy Care provides a wide range of domiciliary services within individuals’ own homes and in the wider community. These range from help with day-to-day tasks to the management of profound physical and mental health issues. Autonomy has specialist services for children, learning disabilities and palliative care, and places a high priority on the quality of staff training. We ensure all staff are trained in skills relevant to the individual for whom they will care before they undertake support work.

In everything we do, we try to exceed expectations – by going the extra mile.
